The Lock Inn sits in a unique position at the side of the Caledonian Canal Locks in Fort Augustus yet also on the main route of the Great Glen Way.
Food is served all day overlooking the canal. If you fancy some fresh air you can sit outside in our seating area and enjoy a meal or drinks while watching the boats go through the Canal Locks. On cold days you can sit inside and enjoy a dram and a great meal by our open fire. Well behaved dogs are permitted in the bar area.
All our food is locally sourced and our chalkboards are changed daily with specials. We use fresh seasonal, sustainable produce and offer a range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes.
We have a wide range of Scottish Malt Whisky, Gin, Craft & Cask Beers available for you to sample.
